The spool 10 of fishing line comprises a spool body 11 and end face materials 12 which are integrally molded with a resin and finished to have a certain thickness in size. The spool body 11 has a cylindrical part 13 and flange parts 14. The end face materials 12 have a planer part 19. The end surface materials 12 are inserted into the cylindrical part 13 and fixed. The cylindrical part 13 is formed in a tapered shape. Shaft through holes 15, 20 are formed in the flange parts 14 and the planer parts 19. Level differences 17, 23 are formed on the peripheries of the flange parts 14 and the planer parts 19.
