Abstract:

PURPOSE: To improve the productivity by performing spot welding by a welding current pattern consisting of an up-slope energizing period of time and a specified welding current energizing period of time following after this.

CONSTITUTION: Viscoelastic high molecular resin given with electrical conductivity, a polyolefien-base resin film having 50μm thickness where pure nickel powder is dispersed uniformly, for instance, is held between two steel sheets, cold rolled steel sheets having 0.4mm thickness, for instance to manufacture the high damping steel sheet given with electrically conductivity. This steel sheet and an ordinary steel sheet are superposed on each other and spot welding is performed. Spot welding is then performed by the welding current energizing pattern consisting of the up-slope energizing period of time capable of increasing gradually a welding current after energizing is started and the specified welding current energizing period of time following after this. Consequently, the surface of the high damping steel sheet given with electrical conductivity in a spot weld zone can be made in a smooth state in which the extent of a dent and a swelling is little.
