Title:
SPRAY COATING METHOD FOR INNER SURFACE OF SMALL-SIZED TUBULAR BODY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5881468
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To form a liner layer having wear-resistance, while eliminating troubles such as deformation or the contraction of a diameter, by heating a tubular body made of heat-resistant special steel from its outer surface to hold its inner surface at a high temperature, and concurrently spraying a facing material to the inner surface.

CONSTITUTION: A tubular body 2 made of heat-resistant special steel which would not be thermally deformed is uniformly heated from its outer surface by a burner 3, to hold the inner surface 2a of the tubular body 2 at a high temperature, and a facing material comprising hard steel is uniformly sprayed to the whole of the inner surface 2a through a spray nozzle 4 rotating along the arrow X and moving along the arrow Y to form a liner layer 5 havng wear-resistance. The liner layer is then cooled and solidified. Thereafter, the inner surface 5a of the linea layer 5 is treated by horning or rapping. Accordingly, the inner surface 2a can be uniformly heated at a high temperature, the facing material can be completely melted thereto, and the bonding between the liner layer 5 and the tubular body 2 can be completely performed.
