PURPOSE: To improve the efficiency of spraying operation by providing a rotary stirring cylinder on the downstream side of a watering part at the initial end side of a nozzle, and mixing a refractory material with water sufficiently.
CONSTITUTION: The watering part 2 adds water from a feed water pipe 3 to the refractory material transported by air to the spraying nozzle 1 through a transport pipe 4. Then, the rotary stirring cylinder 5 is connected to the downstream side of the watering part 2. On the internal circumferential surface of this stirring cylinder 5, the stirring means 6 consisting of a rotor 8, rotor blades 10, etc., is provided. This stirring cylinder 5 is rotated at a high speed to mix the refractory material with the water sufficiently, and this mixture is sprayed on an objective surface from the injection opening of the nozzle 1. This mechanism prevents the injected refractory material containing water from dropping from the tip of the nozzle. Further, water is added to even finely powdered components in the refractory material excellently, so no mist scatters to improve working environment.
