PURPOSE: To securely prevent the adhesion of a reflected coating material to a spray gun main body or the like by storing the spray gun main body in a cylindrical protective cover and fixed therein, and providing a means of protruding a discharge outlet of the spray gun main body from through-holes of the protective cover and screwing a nozzle or the like.
CONSTITUTION: The whole of a spray gun main body (a), a gripping handle 3, an operation lever 4 and a lever protective frame 5 are stored in the first half of a protective cover (b). A coating material hose is introduced from an opening 10' of a lower face 10 to the gripping handle 3, in which a coating material feed line is formed, and connected with the gripping handle. Further, a hook 1 for hanging is protruded out of a window hole 13 for a discharge outlet 2 is protruded out of a through-hole 12, and then a tightening nut 6 is screwed while a nozzle 7 is brought into contact with the front end face of the discharge outlet 2. The protective cover (b) is fixed on the spray gun (a) by the arrangement. A human hand is put in from an opening 11' on a rear face 11 to grip the gripping handle 3 and the operation lever 4 is operated to carry out the required coating. The reflected coating material, therefore, adheres to the protective cover (b) only.
