Title:
SPRAY METHOD OF COAL AND WATER SLURRY BURNER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6226413
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To be able to reduce the generation of NOx when CWM is burnt, by making spouting angle of secondary air smaller than that of an atomizer and also air ratio of secondary air above the theoretical air ratio 0.3.

CONSTITUTION: A burner comprises an atomizer 11 spouting CWM (coal and water slurry) and two air nozzles spouting air, and at the periphery of the atomizer 11, secondary air nozzles 14 is installed to make concentric circle with the atomizer 11 and spouting angle of secondary air G is made smaller than that of the atomizer 11. Here, when air ratio (actual air amount to the theoretical air amount for complete burning) of secondary air amount to total air amount for burning is made above 0.3, then the generation of NOx is reduced and CO and unburnt combusibles in ash are reduced in quantity and high efficiency in burning rate is obtained at the same time.
