To obtain spray type combustion equipment which can prevent the occurrence of failures caused by heat by preventing the transfer of heat to the preceding stage side of its main body section.
This spray type combustion equipment has the main body section 2 which is divided in to the preceding state side 5 and a heat exchanger side 6 and incorporates the main body 3 of a heat chamber. The boundary between the preceding stage side 5 and heat exchanger side 6 of the main body section 2 is defined by a partition wall 12. A demarcation wall 43 is provided practically in parallel with the partition wall 12 near the wall 12 on the preceding stage side 5 of the main body section 2. The air flow on the preceding stage side 5 is supplied to the heat exchanger side 6 through the gap between the walls 43 and 12. Therefore, an air layer which functions as a heat insulating layer is formed near the partition wall 12 and, accordingly, the heat on the heat exchanger side 6 is not transferred to the preceding stage side 5.
