Title:
SPRAYED CERAMIC COATING APPLIED ON SURFACE OF MOVABLE PARTS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000355752
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To improve corrosion resistance, wear resistance, slidability and peeling resistance by forming a sprayed ceramic coating contg. Al2O3 as the main component and specified amounts of ZrO2, SiO2, TiO2, MoO2 or the like on the surface of parts where a corrosion resistant alloy film layer is formed and executing sealing treatment.

On the surface of movable parts such as the piston rod, jack ram, shaft, valve or the like of a hydraulic or pneumatic cylinder, a corrosion resistant alloy film layer of an Ni-Al alloy or the like is formed to be 20 to 100 μm in thickness. On the layer, the sprayed ceramic coating essentially consisting of Al2O3 and contg. one or more kinds among ZrO2, SiO2, TiO2 and MoO2 by 3 to 9 wt.% and/or the oxides of rare earth elements such as Y2O3, CeO2 and La2O3 by 3 to 20% or multiple oxides composed of Al, Ti, Cr, Fe, V, Co or the like and Se, Y, lanthanoids or the like by 5 to 80% is formed to be 50 to 400 μm in thickness. Next, the porous sprayed coating having 3 to 25% internal porosity is subjected to sealing treatment with an inorganic sealing agent such as metallic alkoxide and water glass.
