Abstract:
To provide a heat insulating composition capable of forming a heat insulating material coating layer having low heat conductivity, excellent in heat insulation and fire resistance by spray coating.
The composition comprises foamed phenol resin crumblings, an organic binder, and water, wherein the foamed phenol resin crumblings are produced by cutting a foamed phenol resin molded body into fine pieces with a blade so that the composition contains a foaming gas.
