PURPOSE: To obtain high charging properties by forming a truncated conical integral material covering the uneven outer surface of a refractory supporting structure, and then mounting it in a frame.
CONSTITUTION: A charging coating refractory layer 2 made of tapered aluminum is formed in a state covering the outer uneven periphery of a hanger brick body C by feeding or spraying in such a manner that the outer surface is formed in a truncated conical state. A hanger brick 1 formed with the tapered layer 2, is set to a frame plate B made of a refractory insulator, and alumina refractory material E is sprayed from a spray nozzle D to form a structure F. In this case, the upper plate B is formed of a refractory insulator, thereby eliminating removal of the upper plate after the structure F is formed. Further, when the plate is removed, the refractory material is not damaged, and processing of the insulator after the plate is removed, is also eliminated.
