Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select an antenna regularly by limiting a band of a reception signal with a band filter means whose band is sufficiently narrower than a reception band width so as to detect the reception strength of the reception signal.
SOLUTION: A reception signal converted into a prescribed frequency signal by a frequency converter is distributed into a BPF 115 and a narrow band BPF 123. The signal receiving prescribed band limit by the BPF 115 is fed to a variable amplifier 116 and a detector B122. The detector B122 detects the strength of the reception signal of the wide reception band subjected to spread spectrum and a detector A124 detects the strength of the reception signal limited sufficiently to a narrower band (around a center frequency of a reception band). A control section 118 uses a signal S1 from the detector A124 and a signal S8 from the detector B122 and selects an antenna when the level of the signal S1 reaches a 1st threshold level or below or the signal S8 reaches a 2nd threshold level or below.
