Title:
SPRING CLUTCH
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS59159425
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To check the occurrence of an offensive noise at a high frequency zone, by winding a coil spring round the taper surface of a driving shaft, while making frictional force against the driving shaft of the coil spring smaller. CONSTITUTION:Rotating a driving shaft 1 counterclockwise, when an armature 13 is removed from a projection 14 of a clutch cam 8, turning force in the shaft 1 is transmitted to the cam 8 through the friction between the driving shaft 1 and a coil spring 7. When rotation of the cam 8 is stopped upon engaging the armature 13 with the projection 14, the spring 7 slips to the shaft 1 whereby the rotation to a driven shaft 2 is cut off. At this time, since a taper 6 is formed in the shaft 1, pressure of the spring 7 to the shaft 1 becomes small, thus the occurrence of an offensive noise at a high frequency zone is checked.
