To provide a spring containing material treatment apparatus which can crush sort a spring containing material into a metallic member and a flexible member without using a wind-power sorting machine.

The spring containing material treatment apparatus has a crusher 1 which is formed with a biaxial shearing machine and crushes the spring containing material, a hammer type cracking machine 2 for cracking a material to be cracked, and a magnetic sorting machine 3 for sorting a metallic member piece from the material to be cracked. The crusher 1 has two rotary shafts 12, a plurality of rotor disks 13 fixed to each rotary shaft respectively, and a scraper 15 which is arranged between rotor disks 13 adjacent through the same rotary shaft 12 to contact with a part of the outer peripheral side of the rotary shaft 12. The cracking machine 2 has a rotary shaft 22, a disk plate 23 fixed to the rotary shaft 22, and a plurality of hammers 24 swingably installed centrally near the outer periphery of the disk plate 23. The spring containing material is crushed by the crusher 1 and cracked by the cracking machine 2 so that the metallic member and the flexible member are separated without getting tangled.
