To obtain a red-based spun-dyed copolymer para-aramid fiber having excellent high-temperature discoloration such as high-temperature light resistance, fire, radiant heat etc., a fabric that is obtained by using the fiber and has a lightweight, high tenacity and high light resistance and clothes such as fireman uniform, heat-resistant working wear, protector etc., comprising the fabric.
In spun-dyeing a copolymer para-aramid fiber, iron oxide having heat resistance of 500C is used to give a red-based spun-dyed copolymer para-aramid fiber. A red or orange heat-resistant fabric, a protective clothing and a protector having excellent high-temperature discoloration such as fire, radiant heat etc., high tenacity, chemical resistance, fastness to light and washing fastness are obtained by using the fiber.
