Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a square pipe cutting method, a cutting die device and a cutting die, by which no burr is generated on the corner of the square pipe in cutting of the square pipe.
CONSTITUTION: Two surfaces F1, F2 perpendicular to a square pipe W and a first corner part C1 are supported by die pieces 47, 49 provided the through hole 45 of a die block 35, and corner die pieces 51, 53 capable of pressing and fixing second and third corner parts C2, C3 adjacent to the first courner part are movably provided in the direction to approach to and separate from the second and third corner parts C2, C3. And the square pipe W is cut by moving a punch 66 to the first corner part C1 from a fourth corner part C4 side of the square pipe W in the state where the second and third corner parts C2, C3 are pressed and fixed by the corner die pieces 51, 53.
