Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the squeezing device capable of preventing the crack of a roll while preventing generation of shape defects around a seam part in joining for producing an electrically welded tube, a solid phase joined tube.
SOLUTION: A seam pass roll 3C is that one of squeezing rolls 3-3 includes a seam part 4 passing range in its caliber range and is made of a nonmagnetic insulation material. A recessed part 30 having a width of 5-30% of a tube outer diameter and a depth in a degree producing a space between a tube and the roll is arranged in the seam passing range of the seam pass roll, further, thickening rolling rolls 6A, 6B, which rolls with holding from tube inside/outside a thickened seam part by rolling, are arranged at outlet of the device.
