Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to provide a novel altered Protein G which can bind to an immunoglobulin and which is excellent in a chemical stability to an alkaline solution, and an affinity separation matrix which has the altered Protein G as a ligand. The immunoglobulin-binding peptide according to the present invention is characterized in having the amino acid sequence designed by adding the specific mutation to the amino acid sequence cyclopaedically containing the amino acid residues common to antibody-binding domains derived from wild SpG.
