PURPOSE: To improve the preservation and coloring stability of a color identification reagent by adding cyclodextrin to an oxidation-receiving color identification reagent comprising 4-aminoantipyrine and phenol, aniline derivatives or the like.
CONSTITUTION: 0.5W100mM of cyclodextrin is added to an oxidation-receiving color identification reagent comprising 0.2W2mM of 4-aminoantipyrine and 0.5W 20mM of phenol derivative, 1-naphthol derivative, aniline derivative or the like as given by the formula I (R1, R2, R4 and R5 represent H, alkyl with C1W5, alkoxy, halogen, COOH and the like and R3 H, halogen, alkoxy with C1W5 and sulfone) or an oxidation-receiving color identification reagent given by the formula II containing 0.1W10mM of N-(4-antipyrine)-aniline derivative or the like. This can improve the stability of an oxidation-receiving color identification reagent in the determination of oxides for example by analyzing biological substance with H2O2 or the like generated using enzyme thereby enabling preservation without frequent adjustment of analysis as required each time.
