Abstract:

To provide a stabilizer stabilizing a working medium comprising trifluoroiodomethane which is compressed in the presence of a lubricating oil in a compressor, a working medium composition containing the stabilizer, and a heat exchange method using the stabilizer.

The stabilizer for a working medium comprising trifluoroiodomethane which is compressed in the presence of a lubricating oil in a compressor comprises a hydrocarbon having a nitro group as an active ingredient. The working medium composition comprises a working medium comprising trifluoroiodomethane and the stabilizer. The heat exchange method comprises a step of compressing a working medium comprising trifluoroiodomethane in the presence of a lubricating oil and the stabilizer in a compressor.
