Title:
STACKED TYPE INK JET RECORDING HEAD AND DRIVING METHOD THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3173561
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a change in the amount of ink in an ink drop due to a drive frequency attributable to proper vibration of a common ink chamber.
SOLUTION: Ink is discharged so that the ink may flow from an ink supply port side to an ink introduction port side and is discharged at times when the flow velocity is not high by relatively setting to ensure the relationship between the number of the maximum drive frequency F of a stacked type ink jet recording head and the cycle T of the proper vibration of a common ink chamber which supplies ink to a pressure generating chamber as expressed by F/n<15/16.T (A), or 17/16.T<F/n (B) (provided, n=1, 2, 3,..., 8).
