Abstract:
To provide a stainless steel material excellent in corrosion resistance even when partially exposing a base during processing.SOLUTION: A stainless steel material includes an oxide film on the surface of a base. The oxide film including a Cr2O3 inner layer having a thickness of 50 nm or more has a total thickness of 300-1000 nm, a carrier density of 2.00×1020 pieces/cm3, a lightness index L* of 50.0 or less in a L*a*b* color system and a chromatic index a* and b* of ±5.00 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
