Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the stairs handrail device capable of easily installing at the passage of stairs inside any public building and useful for old people or sickly person on the like.
CONSTITUTION: A movable handrail 1 and a fixed handrail 2 are provided along a stairs passage 3. The movable handrail 1 is constituted so that an endless belt like handrail main body 11 having many handholds 15 is provided along the stairs passage 3, and is rotationally driven by a driving machine. The fixed handrail 2 is constituted so that a long bar like handrail member 21 is fixed to the upper side or passage side of the handrail main body 11 by a supporting member 22. The person who goes up the stairs can easily go up the stairs while being guided upward by grasping the grip 15 and when the person stops going in the middle, the person can safely stops at that place by detaching the handhold 15 and grasping the handrail member 21.
