PURPOSE: To provide a stamping apparatus wherein a stamping means and a feeding means are easily removable and exchangable.

CONSTITUTION: A stamping drum 45 for performing stamping on a carried sheet, a platen roller 47 for pinching the sheet between it and this stamping drum 45 and pressed by the stamping drum 45 and an ink roll 48 for feeding an ink on the stamping drum 45, are provided. The platen roller 47 is supported by an apparatus main body and the stamping drum 45 is movable to either position where it can or cannot be pressed by the platen roller 47 and at the pressable position, the ink roll 48 and the stamping drum 45 are mounted and fixed so as to feed the ink and at unstampable position, it becomes impossible to feed the ink onto the stamping drum 45 from the ink roll 48 and the fitted condition between the ink roll 48 and the stamping drum 45 is released.
