Abstract:
To provide a stand-up pedalling exercise apparatus that enables a keen revolving with a small rotation radius in a high-speed region by operation only by legs.SOLUTION: An exercise apparatus 1 includes: left and right wheels 21L and 21R placed at the right and left sides, respectively, relative to a user 2; left and right axels 11L and 11R attached to the left and right wheels 21L and 21R via hubs 22L and 22R, respectively; a rotation transmission mechanism that transmits, to the left and right axels 11L and 11R, respectively, one-way rotation of the left and right wheels 11L and 11R; and a connection member 12 that connects an end of the left axle 11L at an opposite side to the left wheel 21L with an end of the right axle 11R at an opposite side to the right wheel 21R. The left and right connected portions are placed so as to be apart from each other with a predetermined distance, and a mid point O of the left and right connected portion is located on a plane formed by the left and right wheels 11L and 11R.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
