Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a staple band which does not scattering strip-like matters, houses cut parts of a film without protruding from the thickness of the staple, has excellent appearance reduces the load required for cutting, and can improve operability, a method for producing the same, a binding method, and apparatus using the strip band.
SOLUTION: A large number of staples 1 are parallelly connected to form a strip-like member 11 and a connection material 12 containing a photolytic material is applied to at least one surface of the strip-like material to connect the strip-like member 11 to form a staple band 10. This staple band 10 receives the irradiation with ultraviolet rays by using a binding apparatus equipped with a light irradiation means such as ultraviolet lamp to decompose the photolytic material to easily cut off the connection material to perform binding by staples.
