Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a star wheel capable of easily being adapted to a case where the shape of a container is greatly changed such as a case where the shape of a container to be transferred is changed from the circular or approximately equi-polygonal shape to the flat rectangular and elliptical shape.
SOLUTION: A rear edge part 17b of a guide claw part 17 formed on either start wheel plate 5 is used as a common introduction guide part to comprise a forward part of a pocket 26, and either of guide claw parts 17, 19 formed on star wheel plates 5, 6, e.g. a forward edge part 19a of the guide claw part 19 is used a feed guide part to comprise the rear part of the pocket 26 to change the relative phase between the star wheel plates 5, 6. A pocket of the shape suitable for the change is shape of a container can be formed by selectively combining the forward edge part of the guide claw parts 17, 19 and the rear edge part 17b of the guide claw part 17.
