PURPOSE: To a fuel injection pump having a boost compensator, to achieve the sufficient increasing by providing a spring, increasing lever, stopper, rising chip, etc. onto a stopper lever.

CONSTITUTION: The control rack 1 of a fuel injection pump is coupled to a governer lever 2 to control the fuel injection. A plate 14, increasing lever 14, spring 17, stopper 19, etc. are fixed while interlocked to a stop lever 12. At the start the lower end of the increasing lever 15 will engage with the rising chip 11a of a plate 11 and a spiral spring 17 will press the control rack 1 to the increasing direction. In such a manner sufficient start increase can be achieved.
