Abstract:
PURPOSE: To confirm safety at restarting of the passenger conveyor so as insure safety be continuing the display in an indicator until the starting switch of a passenger conveyor is closed even at resetting the switch of the safety device when the switch of a safety device is once operated.
CONSTITUTION: When a passenger conveyor is stopped by some reason, in a start warning device, it is judged whether it is due to the switch of a safety devicer or not, and if it is YES, an indicating lamp 4 on an operation board 1 provided on a railing part is lighted, and the indicating lamp 4 is continued to be lighted until a starting switch 2 is closed, regardless of resetting of the switch of the safety device or not. A general superviser confirms lighting of the indicating lamp 4 so as to perform safety confirmation (appearance inspection), and after removing the operational reason of the switch of the safety device, pushes the starting switch 2. At this time, it is judged whether the switch of the safety device is reset or not, and if it is reset, the indicating lamp 4 is turned off and the passenger conveyor is restarted.
