Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the voltage drop at starting time by closing a communication breaker for starting motors to simultaneously supply the starting currents of the motors from a plurality of transformers. CONSTITUTION:When motors 10, 11 connected with high voltage buses 4, 5 are started, a communication breaker 12 of the secondary side of a transformer is first closed by a start command. Then, breakers 7, 9 for auxiliary devices are closed by the AND condition of the closure confirmation signal of the breaker 12 and the start command of the motors. The completion of the start of the motors is confirmed by the closure signal of the breakers 7, 9 and a high voltage bus voltage recovery signal, and the breaker 12 is reopened by the AND condition of both. Thus, the maximum motor capacity capable of starting can be increased.
