Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a state-of-charge estimation apparatus and a state-of-charge estimation method capable of accurately estimating an SOC without waiting for depolarization of an OCV.SOLUTION: A state-of-charge estimation apparatus 20 includes: depolarization determination means 24 configured to determine a battery depolarization by whether predetermined time passes since charge/discharge end time; flat range determination means 21 configured to determine a flat range in which a change in an OCV is smaller than a change in an SOC of a battery 1; and state-of-charge estimation means 22 configured to estimate the SOC based on the OCV if a determination result of the depolarization determination means 24 indicates depolarization and a determination result of the flat range determination means 21 indicates non-flat range, and to estimate the SOC based on a CCV that is a terminal voltage of the battery 1 in a state in which a charger is connected to the battery 1 if the determination result of the flat range determination means 21 indicates the flat range. With this configuration, the present invention can accurately estimate the SOC without waiting for depolarization.
