Title:
STATOR BLADE FOR TORQUE CONVERTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3623640
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fuel consumption at the time of idling by providing a stator blade formed in such a shape that a capacity coefficient (Cf) is reduced when speed ratio (e) is 0.
SOLUTION: A stator blade 13 is provided with a blade head end 14, a blade tail end 15, a back surface 16, and an abdominal surface 17. The blade head end 14 is formed as an end part of the turbine side in a circumferential surface of the stator blade 13. The blade tail end 15 is formed as an end part of an impeller side in a circumferential surface of the stator blade 13. The back surface 16 is formed in a streamline shape as a surface faced to the impeller side in the circumferential surface of the stator blade 13 for connecting the blade head end 14 and the blade tail end 15 to each other. The belly surface 17 is composed of a streamline shaped part 17a and a plane part 17b formed on the blade head end 14 side as a surface faced to the turbine side in the circumferential surface of the stator blade 13 for connecting the blade head end 14 and the blade tail end 15 to each other.
