Title:
STATOR FOR HIGH-VOLTAGE ROTATING ELECTRIC MACHINE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH09200990
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To obtain a stator for a high-voltage rotating electric machine for a long lifetime by making length projected from the end face of the end ring of a slot corona preventive layer longer than the projected length of a duct piece.

A slot corona preventive layer 5 covers a main insulating layer 4 between the slot section of a stator coil 2 and a projecting section projected in the axial direction from an end ring 3, and is protruded by length Y1 from the end face of the end ring 3. A duct piece 6 is projected by the length Y2 in the axial direction from the end ring 3 between the end ring 3 and an adjacent slot 11 for guiding cold air and reinforcing the mechanical strength of the end ring 3. The length Y1 protruded in the axial direction from the end face of the end ring 3 of the slot corona preventive layer 5 is made longer than the length Y2 in the axial direction of the duct piece 6 by 2mm. Consequently, since field concentration in air of the front end of the duct piece is relaxed and aerial discharge can be prevented, a stator for a high-voltage rotating electric machine for a long lifetime is acquired.
