Abstract:

To provide a stator that is manufactured at low cost and free from deterioration in performance when used for a rotary electric machine.

The stator 1 of the rotary electric machine has a laminated core 10 which is constituted of a plurality of laminated thin metal plates 11, 12 composed of at least two types of metals, with opened slots 16, 17 extending in the thickness direction of the laminated thin metal plates. One of the metals constituting the thin metal plate 11 has an iron loss of 28.6 W/kg or lower in W15/50 per 1 mm plate thickness, while the other metal constituting the thin metal plate 12 has an elongation of 30% or more and an rigidity of 130 Hv or less. The thin metal plate 12 composed of the other metal has, in the opening of the slots 16, 17, a claw part 13 bending in the direction to close the opening.
