Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator of a rotary electric machine capable of appropriately cooling a coil while securing insulation properties against foreign matters.SOLUTION: A stator 10A of a rotary electric machine includes a stator core 21, a segmented multiple-phase coil 50, and base plates 31L, 31R. The coil 50 includes a plurality of slot coils 25 and a plurality of connection coils 40 that are disposed with respective base plates 31L, 31R and connect the slot coils 25 of the same phase mutually to configure a passage section. Outside connection coils 41 of the connection coil 40 are accommodated in an outer side face groove 37 of the base plates 31L, 31R. A height H1 of the outer side face groove 37 is higher than a height H2 of the outside connection coils 41. With the base plates 31L, 31R, an outer periphery side communication section 135 for communicating with an outer side face groove 37 is provided on an outer peripheral surface 31d, and a first inner peripheral side communication section 136 for communicating with the outer side face groove 37 is provided on an inner peripheral face 31e.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16
