Title:
STATOR FOR ROTATING MACHINE AND MANUFACTURE THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2000308295
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To minimize dislocation of an inner pad, and also to improve the insulation performance between difference phases and main and sub coils, by varying the length of the inner pad and that of a second wedge.

The wedge lying between different layers after storage of all coils is called a middle pad (at insertion, it is a first wedge, and when it is positioned between different layers, the naming change is made to a middle pad), and the one lying in the opening of a slot is called the second wedge. The length of a middle pad 88 (at insertion, the first wedge 88) entering between top and bottom of the slot is made long, and the tip of one middle pad 88 is abutted against the vicinity of the curve of a coil end on opposite side to a lead, whereby even if the second coil insertion is performed into the slot above the middle pad 88, the shifting of the middle pad 88 into the direction of insertion becomes zero. As a result, phenomena such as the middle pad 107 being an insulator does not lie between an upper coil 108 and a lower coil at the end of an iron core 120 in the vicinity of a cuff 100 vanish, and this stator can prevent the drop in insulation between different phases and between a main coil and sub coil.
