To provide a stator for the torque converter wherein a cutting process is simplified, the cost is reduced, the accuracy of dimension is good, and an assembling process is simple without needing to manufacture a stator carrier, an outer race, an inner race and a one-way clutch by separate members.

This stator for the torque converter is provided with a ring- shaped stator carrier in which a plurality of stator blades are formed on the outer circumference, an outer race arranged on the inner circumference side of the stator carrier, an inner race arranged on the inner circumference side of the outer race and an one-way clutch arranged between the inner race and the outer race. The stator carrier is formed in one body with the outer race.
