Title:
STATOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3498496
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the reliability by protecting the forward end of the outer slot in the stator core of a motor against crack.
SOLUTION: Substantially I-shaped teeth 3a are arranged at constant intervals from the yoke part 2 of a stator core 1 and substantially U-shaped symmetric teeth 3b are arranged on the opposite side of every other substantially U-shaped teeth while extending from the base end thereof. An inner slot 4a and an outer slot 4b having an arcuate forward end 4b1 are made, respectively, on the inside and outside of the substantially U-shaped teeth and the stator core 1 is covered with an insulation layer formed by insert molding of resin at least except the forward end of the teeth 3b. In this regard, thickness (to) of the slot insulation layer at the arcuate part 4b1 at the forward end of the slot is set about two times as thick as the thickness (t) of other slot insulation layer by a thermoplastic resin.
