To discharge the steam generated from apparatuses accompanying generation of steam such as a rice cooker, a water boiler and the like as the dehumidified air without discharging the steam as it is from a steam exhaust port, to solve a problem in a conventional steam discharge device which needs operation of a ventilator or ventilation by opening a window to prevent the possibility of generation of molds on a surrounding wall and the like caused by the steam discharged from the steam exhaust port at a front face, which causes lowering of a room temperature in a low temperature season such as winter, and bad influence on air conditioning of the room.
A steam discharge device comprises a steam suction duct formed on a ceiling portion of the storage portion for guiding the steam sucked from a steam suction opening formed on a ceiling surface of a storage portion where the rice cooker and the like is stored and disposed, to a dehumidifying device disposed in adjacent to the storage portion, and a discharge opening for discharging the air dehumidified by the dehumidifying device to a front face side of the storage portion, and the steam generated from the steam generating apparatus is sucked from the steam suction opening with the air in the storage portion by a blower disposed in the dehumidifying device, introduced into the dehumidifying device to be dehumidified, and then discharged from the discharge opening.
