Abstract:
To provide a steam generating body in which, when a composition to generate steam by heat generated by oxidation reaction of metallic powder is used to supply the steam to nostrils, mouth, throat, or the like, supply of a sufficient amount of steam is started in a short period of time after mixing air into the composition, while a prescribed supply amount of steam is kept for a prescribed time.
The steam generating composition to generate steam by oxidation reaction of metallic powder contains 25-60 wt% of metallic powder, 25-60 wt% of water, salts, and a water absorptive polymer. A mass ratio(water absorptive polymer/water) is 1/5 to 1/3 and metallic powder is adhered on the water absorptive polymer with absorbed water.
