Abstract:
To provide an iron which enables an aroma to be attached to clothing together with steam.MEANS FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEM: The present invention relates to a steam iron. A cylindrical body having a prescribed size is provided on a lid of a water supply port of a water supply tank. A female screw is carved on an inner periphery of the cylindrical body, and a male screw corresponding to the female screw is carved on an outer periphery of an aromatic container having the outer periphery corresponding to the cylindrical body. An aromatic is stored in the aromatic container, and the aromatic container is screwed to the cylindrical body. Alternatively, on a top face of the water supply tank, an aromatic port is provided. To the aromatic port, there is fitted an aromatic container which includes a flange at a top end thereof and a small hole bored in a bottom face thereof, and in which a lid can be screwed to the inner periphery of the top end. The aromatic or a sponge or the like impregnated with the aromatic is stored in the aromatic container.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
