PURPOSE: To use the title iron a steamer as well as an ordinary iron by providing a steamer body, which is freely attachably/detachably provided with respect on the underside of a base, and has an ejecting nozzle to spray steamer from the ejecting nozzle of the base and a brush planted around the nozzle.
CONSTITUTION: When the iron is used as the steamer to spray the steam to clothes, etc., hung on a hanger, etc., and to iron out, a steamer body 21 is mounted in a base 2 of an iron main body 1. That is, an engaging edge pieces 23 on both sides of a cover 22 are inserted from the front of the base 2 to a gap 17 between the base 2 and a heat isolating plate 6, the cover 22 is fixed to the base 22, the front surface of the base 2 is covered with the cover 22, and the segmenting wall 28 of the cover 22 is abutted with the underside of the base 2. The iron main body 1 is made approximately vertical, an operating button 13 of a pump body 12 is operated, the steam is sprayed from the ejecting nozzle 25 of the base 2, the steam is sprayed through a base part 2 of the cover 22 from the ejecting nozzle 25, a cloth is brushed by the brush 27, and the wrinkles of the cloth is ironed out.
