To provide a steel frame fire resistive covering method capable of thinning fireproof gypsum boards covering steel framed columns to reduce a cost by controlling an amount of heat flowing into the steel framed columns from a fire heating side to control a temperature rising of the steel framed columns.
For the steel frame fire resistive covering method for making fire resistive covering of the outside surfaces of the steel framed columns 10 with reinforced fireproof gypsum boards 13 through spacer and fireproof board mounting steel-made substrate materials 11 and 16, the same kind of fireproof boards 17 and 18 as that of the covering fireproof boards 13 are lined to the steel-made substrate materials 11 and 16 on the column side to form them into heat insulating substrate materials, the heat insulating substrate materials are mounted on the circumferences of the steel framed columns 10 at a predetermined interval in the circumferential direction, and the fireproof boards 13 are mounted on the outside surfaces of the substrate materials to make fire resistive covering of the steel framed columns 10.
