Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel-made trough wall structure having better countermeasures to heat-deterioration and heat-expansion, and at a lower cost and for a shorter term of the work in comparison with an iron-reinforced concrete structure and at a lower cost and for a shorter term of the work in comparison with the conventional steel-made trough wall structure.
SOLUTION: In the trough, for which the high temperature flowing material, such as molten iron and molten slag, flows, set on a casting floor for blast furnace, the steel-made trough wall 23 disposed in the rectangular direction to the flowing direction of molten metal in the trough, is constituted by standing a plurality of square-type steel tubes 14 for trough wall on the floor surface 15. On the side part positioned at the side, in which the heat of the high temperature flowing material flowing on the trough groove in the square-type tube 14 for trough wall is directly received, a slit 25 for absorbing the heat expansion is opened by extending in the vertical direction, and the slit 25 is constituted by closing with a tape 34.
