Abstract:
To provide a steel part with a keyway which can be inhibited from melting at the induction hardening.
A planar shape of the key way 21 is of a rectangular shape to which a semicircle is added at both ends. The vertical cross section of a part 22, the planar shape of which is rectangular, is of a square shape, while the vertical cross section of parts 23, the planar shapes of which are semicircle, is of a triangular shape and their bottom surfaces 23a are inclined surfaces shallower than the bottom surface 22a of the rectangular part. Crossing parts 24 of end surfaces 22b vertical to the bottom surface 22a of the rectangular part 22 and the inclined bottom surfaces 23a of the semicircle parts 23 are of a curved surface shape.
