To provide a steel pipe chuck device capable of chucking a thin and small calibered steel pipe pile to make rotational press-fit even in construction at the ground having large rotational resistance and surely obtaining chuck power at anytime.
The steel pipe chuck device is so constituted that a steel pipe 200 is chucked from the inside by a chuck block 10 pushed out to the outside from a slide block 11 slidingly coming into contact with a tapered surface. It is so fixed that a casing 8 is projected downward to an output shaft 82 of an auger, it is so placed that a chuck rod 7 is inserted in the casing 8 from the inside of the output shaft 82 having a shaft hole bored in the direction of the axis, and it is connected to a chuck cylinder 3 hung upward of the output shaft in a non-rotating state through a bearing. The steel pipe chuck device 1 providing a plurality of stages in the direction of the axis to the tapered surface slidingly coming into contact with the chuck block 10 and the slide block 11 is provided.
