The feed blades 2 and 2 are formed in such a way that their spiral direction length is less than length equivalent to one rotation as seen in an axial direction of this steel pipe pile 101, and the feed blades 2 and 2 are provided in an axial direction of the steel pipe pile 101 having a longer length S than the lead L of their spiral. By setting the spiral direction length short, the feed blades 2 and 2 are prevented from catching stones or rocks by themselves. By setting the blades 2 and 2 to be apart from each other for the long distance S, the two feed blades 2 and 2 are prevented from catching stones and rocks between them. Simultaneously, by disposing the two feed blades 2, lack of thrust due to the shortened spiral length of the blades 2 is eliminated.
