Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel pipe pile which easily penetrates the ground, while increasing the force to support the steel pipe pile which has penetrated the ground.
SOLUTION: An end metal fitting 1 taking the form of a short pipe is equal to a steel sheet pile 2 in diameter, and one or plural digging claws 13 projected downward from the lower end face of the short pipe 11 of the end metal fitting 1 and projected outward from the outer periphery of the lower end are provided at least on the lower end of the short pipe 11. A middle partition plate 12 is provided in almost the middle of the inside of the short pipe 11 along its vertical direction, and one or several turns of spiral wings 14 with lower ends starting from a position almost outside the middle partition plate 12 are projected from the outer peripheral surface of the short pipe 11. The upper end of the end metal fitting 1 thus formed is connected to the end of the steel sheet pile 2 by welding 3.
