Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a steel-plate measuring device which pushes the measuring device to a steel plate positively with adequate pressure.
CONSTITUTION: Front and rear supporting paltes 2 and 2 forming a pair support driving rollers 6 and a measuring rollers 7. A linking shaft 13, which is in parallel with the measuring roller 7, is provided at the front supporting plate 2. The front ends of a pair of compressing arms 14 and 14 passing the upper parts of both ends of the measuring rollers 7 are fixed to both ends of the shaft 13. The centers of the compressing arms 14 are linked to a lifting bearing 4 at both ends of the measuring rollers 7. An air cylinder 16 is provided between the rear end of each compressing arm 14 and the rear supporting plate 2. The measuring roller 7 is positively compressed with the adequate pressure by the extension and contraction of the cylinder.
