To solve the problem that an actual steering angle of the front wheels is deviated from a steering angle of front wheels commanded by a transmitter due to errors such as displacement of a tie rod and the rotating speed of a potentiometer shaft caused by an engagement rate due to a clearance between respective gears in a reduction gear, when the potentiometer shaft of a servo motor is rotated via the reduction gear for rotating the potentiometer.
This steering control device of the radio controlled car changes the rotating speed of the motor 91 controlled by the control signal from the transmitter by displacing the tie rod 4 via the reduction gear 94 to change the steering angle of the front wheels, and directly transmitting the movement of the tie rod to the potentiometer 92 to change an output; and controls the steering angle of the front wheels according to the a steering angle signal from a transmitter.
