Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering control device which can further properly limit an excessive assist control amount indicating an abnormal value even if having a protection control function for reducing the assist control amount for controlling power supply to a motor.SOLUTION: An EPS control device individually sets a limit value for limiting a change range of an assist control amount according to a state amount used for the calculation of the assist control amount at each state amount, and creates a final limit value (I, I) with respect to the assist control amount by totaling these limit values (Ito I, Ito I). The control device also performs end abutment protection control for reducing a value of the assist control amount which is calculated on the basis of each of the state amount when an end abutment determination condition is established. Furthermore, when the end abutment determination condition is established, the control device limits the change range of the assist control amount by using the final limit value immediately before the execution of the end abutment protection control.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
